Sports and After School Clubs
At Yew Tree we offer a range of extra curricular clubs to support sport, physical education and learning. Our clubs run before and after school. If a club is full there is a waiting list available which we review each term to ensure all children have the opportunity to participate in a club during the academic year. Some clubs are charged for and the details of costs are available from the school office.

INSPIRED THROUGH SPORT
This Autumn term, we held a sponsorship event with the company, Inspired through Sport. Our school was visited by the World Championship Bronze Medalist, 400m Relay Champion - Alex Knibbs. The children took part in an assembly where we learnt all about Alex's background, his training and career. They then took part in Health and Fitness workshops throughout the day.
Our children were able to raise a staggering £955.20, of which 40% will be spent on sporting equipment for our school.
WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU, THANKYOU!
Your rewards are on the way to you in the New Year.
